Thin man

September 30, 2008 at 3:00 pm (Uncategorized)

A while back Pastor Steve gave a message on the Thin Man. Basically a message on spiritually thin.

I see this thinness in all aspects of our life really and I will list a few here.
In our spiritual walk – are you a Sunday Christian, or do seek God every day.
In Business – Do you just do your job, or do you strive to be a benefit to your co.
Father – Are you a dad that pays the bills, or plays with your kids
Husband – Is your wife a partner or a friend
Friend – Will you bleed for a friend, or will you bleed with your friend
So on and so forth…

In this years election I fear we are dealing with a thin man. Can you guess who I am talking about? That’s right Barack Obama, in my opinion is truly a thin man. He is one who has all the words to make it sound like he has done this and that, and done it in a spectacular way. In such a way that no one else could have done the job. In reality is running depth is about 2 inches deep, subject to the mood winds. He has not Real life experience, and no depth of character. When he votes he votes party lines. I believe this is why the Dem’s have put him in the place he is, that way they will have a puppet as figurehead who can be pushed around like a rag doll.

I am sorry, but I can not cast a vote for a Thin man

Love Letter

September 30, 2008 at 1:19 pm (Uncategorized)

As the sun sets my heart slows to a mournful rhythm.
As the days last rays of light fade so does the vision of your face from my eyes.
As the gulf of night surrounds me I can only hold onto my minds memories of your beauty.

I wait, longingly for the explosion of dawn’s brilliance so that your continence may once again be illuminated, so that new memories may be lived out through the day’s light and stored through for darkness that lies ahead.

Through the turmoil of the rising and setting sun my love for you never wanes nor wavers. As solid and uninterrupted as the foundations of the earth is my love for you.

May we walk through eternity hand in hand.

I love you dear.

His Heart Cry’s Out

September 24, 2008 at 6:08 pm (Abortion, Being a kid, Faith, God, Intercession, Jesus, Life, Prayer)

So I have a picture in my mind of Jesus, in a field of tall grass and wild flowers, wearing robes that are a little gray and dingy, every day cloths used for work or play. Not the White Robes of royalty, but the rough heavy garments of a Caregiver.

He, Jesus is in this filed down on one knee, grinning nearly from ear to ear and a hearty belly laugh is coming from somewhere deep inside

He is surrounded by Kids, hundreds and thousands of kids of every color and language known to man, laughing and playing, rolling in the grass and just enjoying the breath of life.

I look into his eyes and see a deep sorrow and I understand…
These are the Kids that were lost before they were able to defend themselves.
These are the kids that were lost to abortion
He sits with each one of these every day knitting them back together body and soul, loving them and laughing with them into eternity while his heart cries out every moment for very reason they are even there.

Cherish the cool rain

Cherish puppy breath

Cherish Mexican food

Cherish love

Cherish friends

Cherish laughter

Cherish music

Cherish the first beat of an unborn child’s heart

Cherish your love for your wife

Cherish her love for you

Just a post

September 11, 2008 at 7:02 pm (Uncategorized)

I just want to start by saying I am sorry for not posting much latley.

I have been going 100 diffrent directions from the way it feels. But here’s the big thing for me right now, I am looking at getting back into school for programing.  I am pretty consumed with that over the last few weeks.

On top of that it’s feels like fall in SD and my alergies feel like they may be the death of me.

Beyond that, not much new this week.

God Bless

Us and Them…

September 5, 2008 at 2:24 pm (Uncategorized) (, , )

Has anyone else noticed that all comparisons going around are against the Republican Vice-president nominee Sarah Palin, and the Democratic Presidential nominee Barak Obama?

I mean really do we want a man leading the country who’s credentials are only comparable to the alternative VP? Speaking of experience he doesn’t hold candle to McCain.

Sarah Palin

Is Sarah Palin a rock star or what?

I know a speach is just a speach, and she has many trials yet to face, but man she hit a home run last night.
